First edition, second printing, in the first issue dust jacket. All the desired edition points present, including the Guardian Blurb on the rear panel of the dust jacket, but the number line on the copyright page down to 2. A very good copy in a very good, unclipped dust jacket. A slight lean to the spine. A bit of foxing to the top edge of the outer text block but the contents fine. A very faint trace of dampstain at the bottom of the rear panel of the dust jacket near the barcode, only apparent on the verso. A very bright example overall. Though lacking the primacy of a complete true first, these examples of the first issue dust jacket still in use for the second printing are scarce and desirable, representing still the earliest appearance of Harry Potter in the United States.
